What are my Green Values?

I work in a way that minimises impact to the environment and promotes good karma

I love BRITISH

I've forged great relationships with local growers, to ensure that during the growing season my flowers and foliage travel the least miles possible. Some come from my own cutting patch just outside the studio! Out of season, I source fair trade flowers wherever possible.

I love RECYCLING

I don't use traditional plastic (that's nasty stuff) instead my 'plastic' is biodegrable, just chuck it on the compost heap! My packaging is either recyclable or reusable and where possible minimal, this means your flowers will arrive without the 'bells and whistles' of a traditional florist, but will still look beautiful and be kept safe.

I love VINTAGE

Wherever possible I use vintage or upcycled ribbons and accessories. I adore the history and romance of tying your bridal bouquet with 1960's silk or lace from a pre-loved wedding gown.

I love BEES

Without these little fellas (actually gals) we'd not have long left on this planet. Apart from vital food crops, bees also pollinate our flowers and plants.  Therefore looking after them should be a priority.  We donate a percentage of our profits to support our local beekeeper.

I love to GROW MY OWN

It started off with a pot of sweet peas and each year gets bigger. On our cutting patch we organically grow a small selection of flowers to use in our designs.  If we know in advance we will even grow some especially for you!

I love to BRING HAPPINESS

With the consent of my brides, any flowers I am asked to collect after a wedding or event are repurposed in jam jars and donated to local care homes or hospices.
